We're looking for STEM Workshop Instructors (contractor)!
 
We believe that educators deserve to have opportunities to explore, learn and have fun with STEM!
Rico Computers Enterprises, Inc. is seeking STEM Workshop Instructors (contractor) to help facilitate our expanding educator workshop program during the school year.
We will train and mentor however tech-savviness, subject matter expertise and a love for technology is a must.
 
Rico Computers Enterprises, Inc. designs workshops that provide educators with fun and engaging opportunities to explore the newest technology with no experience needed. Each session is filled with exciting, hands-on experiences using science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). These experiences are designed to build interest, knowledge, and technical skills that educators can take with them into the classroom and beyond.
 
When you join our team as an Instructor you will:
  • Implement curriculum in a way that is exciting to the participants you’ll serve.
  • Take ownership of teaching role and lessons - being willing to modify, adapt and be creative to achieve the largest positive impact you can.
  • Build connections with schools in order to distribute promotional material.
  • Report to and collaborate with Coordinator.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with educators and schools
REQUIREMENTS: 
  • A love for education and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
  • Collegiate professor with requisite subject matter expertise.
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities and travel between multiple school sites.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A love of technology, computer programming, and STEM.
  • The ability to troubleshoot computer and technology problems.
  • Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work outdoors.
 
Compensation commensurate with experience
